EFNMS ASSET MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP: ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 55000) - MOTIVES AND BARRIERS FOR IMPLEMENTATION

The interactive workshop will be devoted to a discussion on motives and barriers to decision-making on the AMS implementation in accordance with ISO 55001. The participants will be first invited to provide their opinions and answer some open questions. In the second part they will be able to express their opinion on the influence of the pre-prepared motives and barriers, respectively, on a Likert scale 1 to 5. Interaction will be enabled by the use of smart phones and supported by a web app. After the analysis of the result, the participants will receive a structured report, together with some ideas on how to further promote the adoption of AMS in organizations. The insights may be beneficial to the participants considering potential implementation of the AMS and could be instrumental in taking initial steps towards the implementation right.
