LUBSOLID™ technology for all industrial markets

Reliable lubrication extends bearing life without relubrication. 70% of bearing failures are due to poor lubrication: too much or too little lubricant, lubrication frequencies not respected, wrong choice of grease or immiscible lubricants.

LUBSOLID™ is a solid lubricant, filling the entire free space of the bearing. A large quantity of oil is stored in a porous polymer matrix.

Over the years, NTN has developed and evolved its lubrication technology to enable many industrial companies, manufacturers and users to meet the challenges they face.

Almost all bearings marketed under the SNR brand are now eligible for LUBSOLID™, as it is possible to fill ball and insert, needle, spherical and cylindrical roller bearings.

KIZEI®: The exclusive range of spherical roller bearings

The range of spherical roller bearings protected by metal shields allows, with an ISO standard dimensions product, to improve production efficiency and achieve lower maintenance costs, thanks to an innovative design, halfway between the sealed and open models.

The NTN engineering team observed that most of damage to open spherical bearings is due to solid contamination or lubrication problems. This results in premature wear to the bearing, high maintenance costs and significant production losses. 

After more than four years of research, development, industrialisation and real-world tests, the solution has been first brought by NTN on the market. 

A patented innovative concept: a spherical roller bearing protected by metal shields attached directly to the cage, which provide protection against solid particles (dust, pebbles, etc.), improve grease retention, respect ISO dimensions - and all of this without reducing the load capacity and rotation speed or minimising the possibility of misalignment.

BIO

Demetrio Federico Nettuno graduated from the Politecnico of Milan (Italy) in Mechanical Engineering, began his career from pure design (R&D department) and then oriented himself to the distribution of industrial products as a sales force. 

Later he entered the world of bearings with the possibility of developing both propensities in parallel, offering technical support assisted by experience and commercial skills.
