QUEST FOR MAINTENANCE EDUCATION FUTURE

 

What will the maintenance be like in the future? What skills will be needed? How shall we effectively learn the new? And what tools and technologies do we need for learning?
The European Federation of National Maintenance Societies and its working group European Training Committee aims to improve and support future maintenance education and attract young smart talents into the field of maintenance and asset management.

During the 90 min workshop we will cover the following topics:
Challenges of maintenance and AM in the following decade: Maintenance education will be part of it.
Demographics in EU countries and elsewhere - Maintenance personnel is aging, but where are the youngs?
Maintenance education in the digital era - What do we need? And what is missing? 
Learning tools and methods - What is available and what can be used for effective learning?
New technologies in training and education - Fancy technologies to facilitate learning
Core degrees and EQFs - How maintenance qualifications are understood in the EU?
EFNMS Maintenance Certification with guest speaker from EFNMS European Certification Committee.
Discussion - What are the most important issues you face in maintenance training and education? And what help do you need?
